This is why women struggle to report rape and sexual assault. More recently, there was Sarah Everard and the behaviour of the police at her vigil and the photos taken of Bibaa Henry and Michelle Smallman. We know they don't give a flying fuck about women and girls.

My young grandson is crouching with his right hand on the hardwood floor for balance, as if he is a superhero who has just landed a big jump. The Spiderman suit that he is wearing suggests he is in fact a superhero who has just landed a big jump. He is very cute. There is a staircase with a childproof gate behind him, but I think he'll just websling his way up, to be honest!

Three sceptres from the crown jewels collection. They are long, golden and rammed with precious stones, no doubt robbed during the conquests of empire. Ten delicious looking cupcakes on a glass stand. They are in black tulip cases, v swanky. The buttercream is black and very pale pink, most are one or the other colour in various piping styles with glitter dust and sugar pearls as accents, two are a combination of the two colours. It is a trial run for when I have to make 60 in a couple of weeks! Yikes! 😱 I'm calling it a win though!

I got lost in building a cake stand for my daughter in laws 30th cupcakes! Cardboard wrapped in glittery wall paper! Took me hours but I done good! I did read two books and listen to different audiobooks at night too though, so yeay books! 🙌🏽

On a wooden floor in the corner of the room stands a cardboard cupcake display with three shelves. It is covered with black glittery wallpaper and looks pretty ok, even if I do say so myself! Because I made it myself! Go me! I may share the sugar skull when it's finished too! (I may be trying to avoid thinking about the 50+ cakes and cookies I'll have to make as well... yikes!)

I feel like this kind of fits here somehow…

The picture has four panels. The background in all four is a red cinema ticket office with glass, behind which is sitting a cartoon man in a red jacket and natty little jauntily angled pillbox hat. In the first panel, there are three sheep in a trench coat standing to the left of the booth, the top one is wearing a hat and saying ‘One adult ticket please’. Got a really happy ‘Spot the dog’ for you! It’s pretty easy but the payoff of her little face is worth it! 😍

A sun dappled slope. There is low level undergrowth everywhere, dumping its seeds deep into my floofy girl’s fur… but I digress. Framing the picture to both sides are two trees, both of which have forked trunks. There are others out of shot creating the shade. If you zoom in in the correct spot, you will be rewarded with a very beautiful and smiley faced dog! She is a Malamute, so she has a lot of white fur and a widows peak of greying fur around her lovely face.

I found the lp!! It was next to my ‘Bambi’ soundtrack! Yes, I used to make up dances to ‘April Showers’, what of it?! Looks like it was also a film from 1972! (I was 1!)
