reconvened with me at my favorite studio (Room B at
United Studios in Hollvwood). We had Nigel Godrich
who worked on "Sea Change" and "Mutations" with us
mixing all the songs. It had been a decade since we
went in the studio and recorded "Morning Phase." This
time It felt like the playing and the chemistry had
evolved and deepened- a sound that's come together
over the decades of working together.

While we were revisiting a musical and physical place, it
also felt like we were finding new sounds and emotional
textures along the way

Ride Lonesome. Beck's new album. will be released
September 18 via Capitol Records, and is available for

I am glad this happened, but I'll only truly believe Playboy has changed its stripes if it puts a trans woman on the cover That's also the only way I'll ever forgive them for what (former? current? no idea! they don't publish their masthead online!) editor Will Dana said to me a couple years ago:

Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky on Sunday announced, after weeks of speculation, that he had a fall last month that landed him in the hospital.

“My doctors have confirmed that I didn’t break any bones or suffer a concussion. I didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. I don’t have any tumors or hemorrhages. But I was briefly unconscious and was taken to the hospital. While receiving excellent care over the past several weeks, I’ve also had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia,” he said in a statement.

The film score of The NeverEnding Story was composed by Klaus Doldinger of the German jazz group Passport. The theme song of the English version of the film was composed by Giorgio Moroder, with lyrics by Keith Forsey, and performed by Christopher "Limahl" Hamill, once the lead singer of Kajagoogoo, and Beth Andersen. Released as a single in 1984, it peaked at No. 4 on the UK singles chart, No. 6 on the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, and No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has been covered by Armonite, The Birthday Massacre, Creamy, Dragonland, Kenji Haga, New Found Glory, Echo Image and Scooter. This Limahl song, along with other "techno-pop" treatments to the soundtrack, is not present in the German version of the film, which features Doldinger's orchestral score exclusively. An official soundtrack album was released featuring Doldinger's score and Moroder's theme tune. Moroder also rescored several scenes for the version released outside Germany.[10] The track listing (Doldinger is responsible for everything from track 6 onwards) is as follows:
