until such time as we come up with a better interface for talking to machines, I honestly find it baffling that we: a) apparently don't emphasize this more b) still haven't really made any research progress on this interface more generally. Losing the ability to type through RSI is pretty common.

Huh... The audio reader for this article either is insane or is not escaped correctly and somehow evaluating the audio quote maybe? More disconcerting than anything else. I feel kinda weird I don't know more how to diagnose it though.

There's a lot of valid criticism of Smith's absurdly self-confident takes. But in this, his read of intellectual scaffolding of National Conservatism's backroom ideologists, I think he's worth reading. Not just for the criticism, but for the insight that its a movement failing it's own goals.
Always 'Cowboy Bebop', but the usual top list are mostly good. Mononoke and Miyazaki's stuff generally is kind of standalone and doesn't suffer from gross sexism as others tend to.
