North Ga via South Ga I'm here to make my little posts. He/Him my skeets from worst to first:
I posted a few weeks ago about a vintage turntable my son and I were restoring, but I never showed the finished product. We did all the soldering, polishing, etc. ourselves, and it works great! We’re pretty proud of ourselves.
Several times a day he comes to me, urgently needing to go outside, so he can lie in the grass for ten or fifteen minutes.
In the South you’d see this, lean toward the person next to you in line and say, “he looks good, don’t he? So natural. They did a good job with ‘im,” even though he don’t look all that good.
I’ve spent the last few weeks restoring a vintage turntable with my son. We’ve had a great time with it, and I’ve loved seeing him take ownership of the project with me. Here’s the restored base. We added ports to the back to eliminate the cables coming out through the bottom.
After about ten minutes, I brush a little butter on the top so they get nice and golden brown. There is already a lot of butter in these, and there will be more when they’re done.
He made his on a sheet pan. I figured out over time I like mine baked in a skillet.
Sometimes on a Saturday morning, when the house is quiet, I get up before everyone else and make biscuits.
