Homage (2021) Never considered myself a watercolor artist. This was my first effort since preschool. It was inspired by watching 'Painting With John' during Covid pandemic. The best thing learned from the show was not art, but perception: Unique creation is indifferent to the opinions of others.

Brave gull buzzes a Bald Eagle. I've observed small birds buzz and harass crows and ravens to chase them away, but never before watched a gull repeatedly strafe an Eagle. Apparently neighborhood bad blood.
