the reason we are not having brown outs and black outs is because some of us took the offer to never have another electric bill for life. Install solar panels, buy an electric car and eliminate electric bills and buying gasoline for life.
My solar panel output in central Ohio for the month of April. Blue is my panels out put Orange is what we use. As you can see I almost produced 1/3 more then I used. That gets banked (Grid Tied) and when we do not produce enough (occasionally Nov-Feb) our electric bill is still $0.00
