I have been experimenting with curves and its *really* hard to make smooth curved lines with a v-chisel in MDF. Lino is much more relaxing to use, but then you don’t get to have a good fight with your materials. #Printmaking #Woodcuts

It’s kind of bad actually she should get some lessons. AnyWho, there are a bunch of circles 123456789 and it looks like ribbons or vines creating them. It’s not smooth. It’s very gougey. Brown in colour from several print colours washed off.

Fuck it I’m going analogue-ish. Went and got my Big Binders of CDs out and remembered how I used to just scribble the name of the artist on the CD when they gave us zero indication so I could file them.

I don’t think you know that you have inspired me before, so let me say it now. I have been doing some stretch / practice printmaking work that I do not love at all but I *think* it will get me somewhere with new technique. I had been wanting to @ you so now here I am!

Oh it looks like we need to get together and compare notes. Here’s one from Northern Ghana near the border with Togo. Being in other places and cultures has completely changed my outlook on humanity and life.
