More and more often I encounter things that are so lazily cynical and exploitative and glib, I don't know what to say. Like, even the most mundane wallpaper of life on the internet is so anti-human.

Today’s gallows delight. Someone in my neighborhood just keeps their giant Halloween skeleton out all year now and dresses it up for different holidays. No idea what the actual intention behind this is, but imo it’s a weirdly poignant metaphor for dragging ourselves forward despite it all.
