I was reading this interview with Sam and Louise Sullivan and suddenly it got too real

SAM: I Irish-exited Providence, where I was living, just because I was like, "I need a job.
My health insurance is running out." I was 24 or something. And then I got a job working as an English teacher. I'm a failed poet. So I was teaching English and stuff. And then I got a job, like a legit job teaching high school English lit at this prep school that I work at now, the Quaker school. It was all money-related. I was biking around Providence trying to go get a check for something I'd already done. I was putting my bike on the front of the RIPTA. It was snow and ice and just like crusty dogs everywhere, and I was like, " gotta get out of here."
