Trying to save the world one amendment at a time 💚 #EuropeanParliament #Agroecology #Organic food #GMO #farming #NoPatentsOnSeeds #WomenRights she/her
Well that's a new one. Train anounced, on time platform 44. Come the time and no train arrives. The anouncement saying the train is departing comes. We all look at each other. Is it a ghost train? Does it only appear if we believe in it? Have we missed it now?
In which we learn chemicals and AGRI-business spend a staggering 46,5 million € annually on lobbying at EU level. Bayer alone spends 6 million a year, an increase of 39,7% since 2020. In case you were wondering why deregulation on agriculture and pesticides is going so fast lately...
Look. It's not the best, but it's my favourite: One Cut of the Dead. It surprised me and made me laugh. And it's a film you need to deserve. It makes you wait. It's deeply annoying until it's not anymore.
Ah. Cool cool. A very large majority of the EP just voted for a report that asks the EU to cut funding to NGOs who criticize EU livestock farming and that implies only adult men can be vegeterians without health issues. I'm going to walk into the sea.
Ah. Stuck in the train at CdG airport for at least 3 hours because of an accident. Happy Monday, I guess.
Saw this guy yesterday at la Madeleine. He is very, very funny. Highly recommend.
That amendment just passed in the AGRI Committee. The report it was in was then voted by a very wide majority. 40 in favour, 8 against (including 4 Greens and 2 from the Left). I guess the others find it acceptable. I am very tired.
Je suis sure que vous ne devinerez jamais comment Mme l'eurodéputée Trochu a voté sur le dernier rapport du Parlement sur les droits des femmes...
We made a bit of noise so that they remember the majority disagrees with them.
Graphic design is my passion 😬 Happy new year from Sherlock and me - Let's make it better than the last one!
This is Rogue. She became a bit grumpy with age but still wants pettings and sleeping on us more than anything else.
Who has the many speeches where Ursula swore simplification was not deregulation? Was not last time just a month ago for SotUE? Dropping the pretence, then, I see.
Me reading the news this morning. When I asked myself aloud yesterday "How could it get worse?", it was a rhetorical question, not a dare.
You know, when I started this job, i was ready to negotiate with people I disagreed with. I was not prepared for that level of bad faith.
Spending my Monday morning listening to the political groups who've been whining for the last 5 years that the EU builds environmental legislation on faulty data, now fighting against any trial to gather said data on #forests or even have member states gather them in compatible formats. 🌲🌳
Take the fictional character quiz and post the first four you know. openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac... Look, that's not wrong. I'm probably a bit angrier but apart from that... 🤷♀️
