Can’t wait to find out what rights I’m going to lose today
Book #12 for the year: I Don’t Want to Be Understood by Jennifer Espinoza. I’ve appreciated poetry before, but this is the first time I’ve really *felt* it
Book #11 for the year: Dreadnought by @aprildaniels.bsky.social. If I’d read this when I was 13 it would’ve changed my life. If you want to understand the pure euphoria of transitioning, read it. Thanks to @beezygrey.bsky.social for the rec.
Book #10 for the year: What’s the T by Juno Dawson. A beginner’s guide to trans, suitable for younger readers.
Post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet (if you feel like it) One of these two, I think. The one on the left should be her album cover.
Book #9 for the year: We Will Rise Again, ed. by Older, Newitz, and Lord. Scifi stories about activism and hope. But in almost all of them things get way worse before they get better.
I do love Pride month at the comic shop. Thank you @planetx.bsky.social @nicoleamaines.bsky.social @lilahsturges.com @zoewithasword.bsky.social and everyone else involved for doing your thing
Just got home from my FFS trip, stopped by the comic shop and found the perfect thing waiting in my pull. Thanks, @planetx.bsky.social and @nicoleamaines.bsky.social!
