While it’s been 100 degrees here in Wichita I put a quilt together. It’s in the frame now so the hand quilting can get started.
The recent snow helped me finish piecing this quilt together. It’s ready for the quilt frame now.
It’s cold in Kansas so perfect day to put a quilt together. Lots of blocks laid out on the floor. Now to sew them together.
I moved my tree with just lights on my bedroom deck so I can enjoy a little longer!
Hand quilting is therapeutic to me. And someone always gains a nice quilt when I’m done.
My mother pieced this quilt together 15 years ago before she died. I finally got the courage to quilt it. I do all hand quilting so it was a big project. Pleased with the outcome.
I went to an estate sale a stocked up on quilting fabrics. Vintage fabrics you can’t find anymore. I am set for a couple years of great quilting,
At the Zoo in Wichita Ks. Exhibit closed as I think all the penguins are out protesting the tariff’s.

I moved my Christmas tree to my bedroom deck . Last week it was beautifully flocked with snow. I also have hid some suet cakes in it for the birds. Can’t avoid winter in Kansas so trying to make the best of it.

Hosting an impromptu thanksgiving this year. Started out a dinner for 3 and grew to a dinner for 7.

I raided my sisters basement of decorations she never uses. Found two nice garlands to fill my window boxes.
