Voted my mail-in ballot that was mailed to me and put it in our mailbox to be picked up by the #USPS last Wednesday. It was picked up last Thursday for the election held yesterday. Checked votewa.gov last night and it was accepted. #MailinBallots #WAState #Washington

Currently enjoying a light breakfast with Mom at a Spanish villa in Navarre province. (Okay, it’s really just an old rose bush in our backyard by Puget Sound. There’s no place like home.)

A big spray of large red-orange “Reba” roses in full bloom on a semi-wild (appropriately) bush just outside the back door of a white house with siding from the 1940s whose composite has a high likelihood of containing asbestos.

Something I ponder now and then… This idea keeps bubbling up in my mind where famous film couples, whose actors are still alive, are portrayed in a series of shorts that shows a moment in their lives occurring after the same amount of time from when their movie was made… (see ALT for complete text)

This idea keeps bubbling up in my mind where famous film couples, whose actors are still alive, are portrayed in a series of shorts that shows a moment in their lives occurring after the same amount of time from when their movie was made. Like OP Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth’s Mrs. & Mr. Darcy as they would be in, say, 1843. Or something that happens to Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal’s Sally and Harry today. Maybe as a Valentine’s Day anthology of scenes or something. Would be fun to see their characters in a different time period.
