Dash's little arthritic legs aren't so good for running any more, but in his dreams he's as swift as the wind. Awww, bless him and his carrot toy. My desk fan is pretty loud in this vid but you can just hear him grunting in his sleep.
Yeah, I've used it before. here's a toe I made from carving expanding foam, and some items I cast in silicone using foam sprayed into the mold. UniBond used to do this fantastic white expanding foam that was more dense than the regular kind.
Every week in class, one of my students gives me a tiny origami swan she made. Keyboard and mouse for scale. :)

We got new Psionic abilities in our #Traveller game tonight. as well as some new kit. Sweet, sweet in-RPG shopping. Meanwhile I drew an anatomically questionable warrior lady. Thanks to Carl, Ed, Huw, Ian, and Andy (sorry tags aren't working tonight).
Wow, that post about Tommy the neighbour's dog went much further than anticipated! Hello to the hundred or so new followers I've gained in the last couple of hours. You will see lots of memes, snark, and occasional panic on this feed. And artwork, some of it my own. Here's my Dash, for dog tax.
Dash is nearly 13 and is getting very frail. It breaks my heart to see him tire so easily, and go limping on walks at the slowest possible speed. He was called Dash for a reason. 😭
So I'm distracting myself with finishing the cheddar man painting. Just the matt and gloss coats to go on now. Then it's time for greenery! Very happy with the warm and cool hues on this.
Base painting complete. Now for some washes for more depth and fine detailing, such as cracks and stains. My camera doesn't pick up the depth in the bone very well. But it's there!
The bread maker is making its inaugural loaf. The washing is on. So I'm going to spend the afternoon painting up Cheddarman as if it were a giant, ancient relic / piece of terrain. Damnit, should have bought a large base...
W00t! My spray paints have arrived, which means Project Chedderman and Project Spinallamp are both go! First coat of bone colour is on the Chedderman skull already.
Tubes yes. Palette knife, not so much. Either way, I couldn't find my oil paints, so had to spray the board with plasticote and continue with acrylics. I still hate every moment of this.
Today I am celebrating 100 years! (And judging by the photo quality, so it my phone cam)
