I think more context behind what specifically isn't working might help. But from an engineering perspective, the teeth on both rack and gear are too thick. There's not enough clearance to allow smooth motion, most gear teeth are narrower at the tip than the base, rather that the same thickness.

Looks kinda more green in the picture than blue, kinda disappointed. Also this is just 1 hand, I did 1 clear, 1 colour, then 1 clear again. They take so long to dry (whine)
