The City of Kamloops continues to support individuals displaced by wildfire activity across British Columbia through an Emergency Support Services (ESS) Reception Centre, which now includes group lodging at the McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.
#Kammute: Upgrades to the transit stop at Tranquille Road and Wood Street will take place July 27 to August 14, including the installation of an “E-Series” transit shelter, a bulb-out, updated pavers, improved accessibility, and sidewalk/road regrading and paving.

Riverside Park is the only designated river swimming area in Kamloops. The safest time to swim there is when a lifeguard is on duty. 🛟 Lifeguards are stationed at the Riverside Park beach from July 1 to mid-August.
