I only need to pay $120 for the additional usage I spent, which is fine. But then I try 2 times and it fails. So there are two SUCCESSFUL payments in my payment history, yet the additional limit is still locked. And the first one doubled the charge?! Insane.
yo @github.com you using AI to write your billing and payment systems now? I got charged 3 times with a "payment failure", and not only that, a single receipt shows double charges. I opened a ticket but I'm making a stink here too, this is ridiculous. #Copilot
Real bad up in Duluth, it was 300 down here in the cities today. Did not go outside.
The incentives around Airbnb reviews are pretty poor. As a guest, I'm incentivized to leave 5 star reviews otherwise future hosts might deny requests to stay. Any issues are basically only reported privately or made lighter in the review. If 4 stars doesn't mean 4 stars what good is it.
Not even Alaska has moose fencing 😜 Highest concentration of moose in the world. That was what it took for us to finally see one in the wild 🤣
Happy to report we saw a moose by the side of the road (the most common way to see one here). FINALLY. My wife can cross that off her bucket list. 🫎🫎🫎
Low tide: walk on the ocean floor High tide: canoe where you walked The water level here rises and falls about 30-40ft every 6 hours 🤯 We spent the day exploring Hopewell Rocks at the Bay of Fundy.
We are in Moncton, NB today. Explored the beach after a squall. Tomorrow plan to visit Hopewell Rocks high and low tides, as well as Fundy National Park.
My friend got this tiny TV you can put mp4s on and each one is a "channel" 😂
It's a nice MVP. And now I can set up Copilot Automations to schedule it to start work before taxes are due. For this, I like to be in the loop so I log in manually but gave it a separate Editor login so it can't do much damage if it goes off the rails. But it did great last night.
there is no question it saved me at least 2 hours today. I know this because last night from 11 to 11:45 I worked on addressing review comments and got through 6. when I kicked it off before bed, it finished the other 10. I did follow-up a few times to clean up a few changes.
plus, the browser canvas can be shared with the agent while it works, so here I'm having it write a Cypress test and it can take a look at my games data. the tests will run separately but at least it gives it the data to look at. you can do this in VS Code too with the new integrated browser.
been playing with new GH Copilot app and I have to say, I am impressed. so far it has worked while I slept, when I went to pick up the kids, and has completed an issue I had since 2024 I was too busy to focus on which I gave it just to see what it could do.
My dad's company already has at least one agent working in production 😎
I especially like the "trivial code changes that meet a threshold of originality", which I capture in my agentic Wardley Map. anything on the left half of the map qualifies as the threshold for original, in other words, "lends competitive advantage". whereas right half is supporting/generic.
No, that's a human error. Sorry! I read this blurb as ffmpeg being used on the server. I can update the show notes!
