so the voice booth thing is going well I think (also damn you bluesky for making me visualize flac to video just to post it)
vocal booth is not *pretty* but my god is it nice to record in. it’s quiet enough here that my clothes are the loudest obstacle. N1 mic works sooooo well in this environment.
progress! still need to buy acoustic blankets and stuff of that flavor. frame is PVC-glued in critical positions, but can be disassembled in discrete pieces. audio stuff mounts cleanly and yes, an iPad can actually power the whole setup. I could take this places! :D
meal prepping a ton of vegan breakfast burritos to freeze. thought i made enough for 24 tortillas, made waaay more :D

current activity: making a 3D print mount for my feet trackers to go onto crocs, specifically figment crocs
every take filmed has a ~3sec buffer at the start to do a walk-in, account for timing, and just be a good safety buffer. but sometimes I use it to get into character
