I can't believe we can't have physical Risks anymore. THANKS A LOT, SONY.
May I humbly offer the following to try and encourage more men to cook?
Hannah Arendt very casually calling it like it is from 65 years ago. Talking with a friend last night about how Arendt's words have a self-evident frankness to them that just isn't discussed, and when I said no one else does it like this, they replied that Sarah Kendzior does. (True)
This one hurts. May his memory be a blessing. It will be in this house, where Claude (in plushie form) is a proud member of the Chomping Committee.
Cheney died, Mamdani won, Maine blocked question 1, VA flipped a bunch of shit, and I got to see cool art and eat tasty food with my wife. I danced today and later I'll jam out some harmonica. It's only one day, but it was very good.
Time is an illusion that helps things make sense So we are always living in the present tense It seems unforgiving when a good thing ends But you and I will always be back then You and I will always be back then
Operation Mincemeat for the third show. We saw the dramatic version on Netflix as a primer, but this is a musical comedy so I'm interested in the differences.
No Titus tonight unfortunately, but we're excited to see Conrad Ricomora! Also, the seats in the balcony of the Lyceum are not made for fat people.
"Death Becomes Her" was a lot of fun! Great camp energy, hilarious one-liners, excellent performances. A love letter to the film. Go see it if you can!
Show number six, a final performance for our last show of the vacation. It was a really fun musical. It may be dead, but may it live on.
Show number 5: I am the very model of a modern major musical. The show normally has one of my favorite actors (Alex Gibson) in it which would've been a treat, but he is tragically out tonight. Quelle tragedie!
I forgot to mention show number 3, which was a ghost story in a cemetery.
Show number 1! We're getting to see it before closing and I'm happy to be out of this dreadful New York heat.
Because I emailed him about voting against cloture and the CR last week. To his credit, he did! One cookie. But his response to me was highlighting how voted for federal funding in the Biden administration. Look at this nonsense reply.
Last show of the year. Great production from the touring cast of a fun show that doesn't take itself too seriously. Great prop work.
Happy Thanksgiving to folks. Hope you're with loved ones, hope you're eating well, and hope you're enjoying a good evening. May there be more peace and more plates for those without either in the days to come.
