Completed staples grocery run this afternoon and didn't crack a single egg! Picking up a bag of frozen veggies has kept the milk and eggs cold on the ride back home 🙌
Today was new bike day for the nephews!! The older one was zooming back and forth on the sidewalk by the end of the day, I hope to take him on Cliff Drive tomorrow and ride along with him 🤗 littler nephew might not be ready for pedals yet lol
The Timeless Mucha exhibit at Nelson Atkins was incredible! But may I suggest replacing Wolverine here with so many great Batwoman pieces. And Florence featured in the Nouveau inspo album section!
Jes treated me with reservations to Tailleur for their high tea and it's right off the Westport streetcar stop!! 😌

I looked at my podcast new release queue and I was like, wow dads really going through it! And then remembered Fathers Day lmao
Took a RideKC ebike to my CSA pickup, and got to check out the new "pedestrianized" 18th and Vine (still has cars, but very polite cars). Also very personally dangerous that the PH ebike hub is so close to the best pizza in town, had to stop in
I treated myself to a RideKC bike share day pass so I could do all my errands today, including compost dropoff 😂 (next time I'll bring my bungee cord)
My overnight backpacking trip with Women-Led Cycling was a success! At least day 1. Longest bike ride ever and most elevation. I did get a ride home today with Jes and Aggie so I could end on a high note.

Getting my gear together for my second ever overnight bikepacking trip this weekend! This will also be the most miles I've done in 1 day and especially 2 days in a row 😅
I got to try an Urban Arrow at an e-bike petting zoo by Way to Go KC. A little wobbly but easier to turn than I thought! One of these days I will be unstoppable
Biked to the gym to swim laps, and got burritos on the way home, what a great Saturday
I never know how to use bike racks like this 😳 my wheels do not fit and even if they did I couldn't lock the frame to the rack with a U lock anyway. Thankfully this is a private garage
I think I unlocked a new pro level of commuting by biking the 1.5 miles to the nearest ebike hub, locking my analog bike up there, and then taking an ebike downtown for lunch and grocery shopping. Especially with a detour to the new ped/bike bridge to the riverfront!
Bike bus to work was a bust but I still had fun testing out my rain gear. I even took a detour through the city market to ride on the brick cobblestones
Morton Amphitheater hosted an event in their parking lot right off the gravel trail between Riverside and Parkville, MO to promote accessibility and all their bike parking. I joined a group ride there and back to the brewery in the River Market, I loved seeing everybody out and about on bikes!
I walked Aggie and a bag of compost to the drop off at PH Coffee and was able to leave her on the very safe patio while I went in for coffee without a howling meltdown 🙌 (she did get tangled in her leash though)
