I’m trying to decide which 3 of my pottery pieces from this year I want to submit to The Big E. Any opinions?

Seven pottery pieces - green spiral plate, green ribbed cup, a tan and blue bowl, a big and little bowl with the same melty white blue purple glaze, a tan cup with yellow and brown zigzags, a cup that is tan on bottom and brown on top.

After two firings, it’s not too far off my vision. But I’d glaze it slightly differently next time

In first grade I pasted this poem into a journal for reading practice. For decades, I have had the phrase “Toot! Toot! Peanut butter!” rattling around my brain without context. It was about a suicidal peanut!?!?

Toot! Toot!
A peanut sat
On a railroad track
His heart was all
A-flutter;
The five-fifteen came rushing by —

I love that someone is decorating the mysterious door to the closed bike path for each holiday.

A wire fence with a regular looking door in it blocking off the walking/bike path. It’s been decorated for Easter by adding Easter stuff to Christmas decorations.
