The Dirt! Wild Life Under the Soil's Surface by Lindsey Leigh was a very thorough and entertaining nonfiction book about soil and the creatures that make it what it is. It was a little gross at times, but my kid loved it! #picturebooks26

I love doing school and classroom visits! The kids in this particular group worked on putting their questions together ahead of time and then took turns asking them. We also did a fun sing-along to Grammy's Halloween Scare, and everyone got coloring pages and stickers!

This is probably the bravest I've ever been on paper. I've been working on this picture book concept and dummy for years. I knew the design wasn't dynamic enough. Took a workshop by J.C. Phillips and it opened up a new perspective. I think I'm almost there!
