There’s a thing on instagram where you share an old pic of yourself that you still love, and it’s wild how just the blurry background of my mom’s living room in the house where I grew up triggers a whole wave of emotions.
Does anything feel better than sitting outside on a warm but breezy day and misting yourself with the garden hose whenever you get too hot?
It’s such a joy and privilege to be able to bring in produce from my own garden. Especially this year, when the garden has mostly been left to its own devices.
