Having Peter be the one to invent inhibitor chips/power dampeners that will no doubt eventually be used to oppress mutants is something I actually really love. Peter has a long history of trying to suppress his own powers so connecting the two feels natural, and it gives Peter a connection to the mutant plight that hits on his guilt and "Great Power and Great Responsibilty."

I enjoy Brolzarro and am excited to see what they do with him. Anime-inspired reinvention is part of the premise of this series so I didn't expect the pale, cracked skin opposite-speaking version anyway. And ngl I'm kinda tired of that version? It just feels gimmicky and reductive.

As polls closed in Iowa, the campaign of Josh Turek, a moderate Democrat running for U.S. Senate, responded to a claim by Ashley Hinson, the Republican candidate, earlier in the day that he was "extreme on gender ideology" and supported "illegals over Americans." Hannah Goss, a spokeswoman for Turek, said in a statement that he "does not believe males should be playing female sports" and that he supports "bipartisan legislation to address immigration."

This is really nitpicky (though that's really what a primary is for) I don't really like Turek did the obligatory "Oh but Iran is bad too" language. Whereas Zach connected it personally back to the Afghanistan & Iraq wars. IMO Turek comes off very sterile whereas Zach comes off more empathetic.

Congress must immediately invoke the War Powers Act to prevent our country from being dragged into another war of foreign regime change.
My generation grew up witnessing and experiencing the horrors of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and we are all still living with the consequences here at home: lives lost, families shattered, and trillions of our tax dollars squandered.
We cannot repeat those mistakes in Iran, and I firmly stand with the overwhelming majority of Iowans and Americans in opposing the unilateral launch of a reckless war without congressional authorization and without a clear exit strategy.

The American people deserve transparency from their government, and the power to declare war rests with Congress. While there is no question the Iranian regime is brutal and repressive, bombing Iran is not the same thing as bringing lasting change to the country. And an attack that could drag the U.S. into a long, costly conflict should not happen without Congressional approval.
Americans were promised an end to “forever wars” and costly foreign entanglements. This is another example of a betrayal of that promise. Once again, Washington is failing working people by being quicker to send working class kids into combat than do anything to lower costs and make our lives easier.

Oh damn. This is kinda doing it for me. Though I'm sure they'll screw it up somehow. For instance I don't like that it's using Spider-Man's axiom but Spider-Man himself is off to the side. Not the first time they'd use Spider-Man to market an event he isn't really a part of.
