"Your enemy's actions define your enemy, your actions define you." I don't care who you are, "AI" shit gets blocked.
James Carville pushing for Haley Stevens, really pushing against El-Sayed. Fuck this piece of shit. This made me donate another $25 to El-Sayed. Fuck this genocidal piece of fetid diarrhetic shit.
Anyone else ever notice how every now and again #HelluvaBoss will feature a green imp? Most prominently I think is Striker. I wounder if they'll ever talk about it? @vivziepop.bsky.social
People like this still exist despite Mamdani showing that it's actually super easy, barely an inconvenience to just turn off the orphan crusher machine.
I enjoy Brolzarro and am excited to see what they do with him. Anime-inspired reinvention is part of the premise of this series so I didn't expect the pale, cracked skin opposite-speaking version anyway. And ngl I'm kinda tired of that version? It just feels gimmicky and reductive.
As polls closed in Iowa, now Democrat nominee Josh Turek threw trans Iowans & immigrants under the bus.
Centrists: "You leftists and your pUrIty tEsTs. The perfect candidate doesn't exist--"
And as for rural voters, as you can see by the map of Turek's District 20 he has NO rural voters, whereas Zach Wahls Senate District 43 does!
What really happened is after a redistricting cycle House District 15 was renumbered to HD20, and HD15 was represented by Democrat Charlie McConkey for a decade.
Only one thing has made me not want to support Rob Sand more than seeing this piece of shit's face in my inbox, and that was when Rob failed to defend trans kids against Republican attacks. But this is a close damn second. Rob is bleeding support from the left and he needs to address that.
Screw comfort characters, show me your CONFRONT characters. This whiny pissbaby is a shit protagonist. Whah whah whah he's a traumatized teenager, so was I. He never does anything to affect the plot & what kind of kid is impressed by a dam but not a giant robot?
Tomorrow Schumer and Jefferies will talk about how bipartisan they are and how they're ready to work with Trump.
This is really nitpicky (though that's really what a primary is for) I don't really like Turek did the obligatory "Oh but Iran is bad too" language. Whereas Zach connected it personally back to the Afghanistan & Iraq wars. IMO Turek comes off very sterile whereas Zach comes off more empathetic.
I am so tired of people telling us to ask for less. To be satisfied with less. Trying to gaslight us into thinking the people who haven't had our backs are somehow our best friends. Telling us to yet again wait. To temper our demands to be more palatable to those who will never ever see us as human
Oh damn. This is kinda doing it for me. Though I'm sure they'll screw it up somehow. For instance I don't like that it's using Spider-Man's axiom but Spider-Man himself is off to the side. Not the first time they'd use Spider-Man to market an event he isn't really a part of.
Ultimate Wifeguy. Was it perfect? No. Do I care? Also no. It still had 100x more heart than anything we've seen from the mainline books for the last 20 years.
A passage from "One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This" by Omar El Akkad
This whole passage is important, but this line really highlights why I may be more critical of Dems than Republicans.
While I get what they're going for, showing MJ & the symbiote having a more balanced relationship, I think they still should've kept Venom being a muscly character.
I'm old enough to remember when Democrats were defending the murder of a five year old, but, whatever en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing...
When one side says "Kill all the queers & nonwhites" and the other side says "Kill half the queers & nonwhites" then there is no "Better." But if you put your foot down and say "No." and one side comes back with "Kill 1/4th the queers & nonwhites?" Then eventually we can reach better.
The fundamental disagreement of our time is not Republicans vs Democrats, it's not even fascism vs democracy, or even right vs wrong. It is the dream vs the system. I know which side I'm on.
