Massive thank you to my book launch photographer, Ray Roberts. He captured the warmth, intimacy and fun of the event so well, I highly recommend him if you need photos for events/headshots. Five stars, book him now! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rayroberts.co/about
My book launch back in May 🫀 it was so wonderful to be in such a supportive and loving room to celebrate this achievement. I have been part of the london spoken word community for roughly 10 years now, and feel so lucky to have made such inspiring connections 📽️🎞️🎬 📸: Ray Roberts
Captured in motion in multiple ways ❤️ the official photos from the Barbican Young Poet Open Works, my performance and participation in a movement workshop run by my cohort member Jess. Once again feeling very lucky and proud to have taken part! 📸: Jesse Olu Ogunbanjo
Last night, after waiting seven years for his London return, I got to see Orville Peck perform. Without his album Pony, I would not have written this poem (www.engenderedlitmag.com/blairnolen) & likely wouldn't have explored my gender at all, what a blessing it is to have art affect you so deeply
Barbican Young Poets Open Works showcase 2026, a privilege to perform for a warm, supportive audience and be part of a cohort of talented, creative, awe inspiring writers. I feel so honoured and lucky ❣️

Voted before work today, thank you convenient polling station, and my reward is seeing the cutest, fluffiest cygnets that have just been born near my tube station 🦢
Accessibility update! The Seven Dials Playhouse has both a ramp and a lift to the lower ground floors where the even will take place. The access bathroom is also on this floor. www.outsavvy.com/event/35868/...

Last night my partner and I went to the gallery preview of Genuine Fake Premium Economy at the ICA, featuring the work of Jenna Bliss, Buck Ellison, and Jasmine Gregory. It was an interesting look at art as luxury product, as investment, at the artifice of representation within advertising.
Went to see Puppygirl (dir. Henry Hansen) as part of the Chronic Youth Film Festival 🎥 brilliantly edited, funny and an interesting look at a subculture label that can be put upon you regardless of its truth, I enjoyed myself immensely. The Q&A after with Henry and Milo was also wonderful!
Happy publication day to Folkish!!! A fantastic collection by @kymdeyn.bsky.social available from @ninearchespress.bsky.social 💚 Marvellous poems with rich imagery, there are all sorts of saints and gods and wriggly beasties! Go grab your copy!
Visited Bunhead bakery in Herne Hill today, a Palestinian bakery whose menu changes depending on availability of ingredients and was delighted with my delicious choices - an iced americano with rosemary and sea salt syrup and vanilla cold foam, and a chocolate halva bun. Well worth the trip!
The Bride only roughly has ten minutes of screentime, Frankenhooker is introduced halfway through but both of them steal the spotlight and are immediately captivating, hence why I chose a 'Frankensteined' girl for my front cover, illustrated by @theoldkyokodied.bsky.social
The Bride of Re-Animator and Frankenhooker Share a Cigarette Outside a Body Built Anonymous Group Meeting, published in The Death of the Cult Classic, available to pre-order now with @kithbooks.bsky.social - inspire by the iconic characters from the mentioned films www.kithbooks.com/shop/p/cultc...
It's been such a busy couple of days, performing poetry in the Barbican curve gallery in response to the current exhibition by Julia Phillips, then Saturday visited the TFL depot museum followed by delicious melon soda floats because I'm the birthday boi! 🍈 🍨 🍒
I'm K.Blair, a poet based in London. I love horror, fried egg sandwiches, and was once described as 'the best dressed poem in any room' 💌 My website: www.kblair.co.uk Pre-order my book here: www.kithbooks.com/shop/p/cultc...
Nothing says Easter like the M*A*S*H spam lamb, remember Charles Lamb alongside the flashy Easter bunny and the risen lord
It was an honour and privilege to perform in the Barbican conservatory yesterday as part of the Young Creative takeover ❤️ I performed work from my upcoming pamphlet and new work I'd written as part of the young poets programme. A lovely gaggle of pals in the audience, so lucky to have that support!
Visited The White Cube in Bermondsey yesterday with friends, which currently has an exhibition by Klára Hosnedlová, called Echo. I love embroidery, it's one of my hobbies, so really enjoyed seeing this masterful technique up close. I loved the scale of the work and how it filled the gallery space.
My valentine's started with my partner catching a mouse that has been scurrying around my flat and releasing it down the street. Then they made me a wonderful breakfast and we went out into the city to solve puzzles that involved monuments and city art!
I have the privilege of performing poems at the Young Barbican Takeover Festival on the 29/03/26 🧡 In addition to poetry performances, there's cinema screenings and workshops and a makers' market! Book your festival pass here (it gets you into all the events) www.barbican.org.uk/whats-on/202...
The orange came out beautifully! My partner loved it 🍊 extending the life of clothing through visible repair felt like a good way to start 2026
Japan on 35mm film - my first time using a film camera, I'm glad that most of my photos came out so well
Last London Pride, I was in the process of curating my poems, starting to place those that felt in conversation with each other together for submission. This London Pride, I'm ecstatic to announce that @kithbooks.bsky.social will be publishing my pamphlet, THE DEATH OF THE CULT CLASSIC 🎥
