It will be interesting because hi flora didn't sell alcohol, but if alcohol is being served, they may run into a problem with this statute and will need to find a different way to keep it separate:

(h) In addition to the prohibitions under subdivision 7, a lower-potency hemp edible retailer with an on-site consumption endorsement may not:

(1) sell, give, furnish, or in any way procure for another lower-potency hemp edibles for the use of an obviously intoxicated person;

(2) sell lower-potency hemp edibles that are designed or reasonably expected to be mixed with an alcoholic beverage; or

(3) permit lower-potency hemp edibles that have been removed from the products' packaging to be removed from the premises of the lower-potency hemp edible retailer.

Additional heat-related closures at Minneapolis recreation centers for July 14

Due to extreme heat, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is closing the following non-air-conditioned recreation centers at 6 pm today.

Brackett Recreation Center
Logan Recreation Center
The following recreation centers closed earlier today:

40th Street Recreation Center
Corcoran Recreation Center
Creekview Recreation Center
Hiawatha School Recreation Center
Keewaydin Recreation Center
Kenny Recreation Center
Morris Recreation Center
Waite Recreation Center
Closures are required when building conditions exceed OSHA standards for indoor ventilation and temperature.

All activities at these locations will be canceled, with signs posted on the doors and participants notified.

I finished my newest favorite book of this year today: Country People by Daniel Mason. It was a very easy and light read, which my brain needed. It is full of colorful characters, absurd situations and doesn't take itself too seriously.

We picked these up yesterday at World Market while looking for yard furniture and they are really tasty. The chips are very light and sort of shaped like a turtle.

Help solve a mystery. A relative moved to Virginia less than a month ago from Minneapolis. Today he received FIVE Christmas cards forwarded to his new address. Where have these cards been since December?

Five Christmas card envelopes with hand covering identifying info. All have a St Paul postmark. All have December or January post mark dates.

I finished 'Dear Monica Lewinski' by Julia Langbein last night. It was not the best book I read this year, but it is my favorite book so far this year. Funny and smart. Lots of medieval Christian art and Catholic Saints and academia and Monica Lewinsky as a saint.

I don’t do birthday parties. I once got Artie a piñata and stuffed it with candy. We strung it up in my parents’ house, inside. And then my parents and I just watched him go at it. He took all the candy, and he was so happy. That was way better than a birthday party.

If you live, work or commute near Cedar between Lake and 42nd, there is a meeting on the future of the road. The first one had good results with people valuing traffic calming and safer crosswalks most by a large margin. Please come and add to that feedback
