While episodes 5 & 6 of House of the Dragon were a little plodding, I thought last week was much better, and the finale was fantastic. A masterclass in characters realising they done fucked up but can probably never go back. Who doesn't love desperation and madness, eh? Who are YOU rooting for? 👀

They are, just ironically Sonic himself is probably the weakest thing about them all. Around him there's some genuine comedy, sweet character stuff and they get better with each movie.

Thanks to Xbox I got to preview Gears of War E-Day! The Coalition have freshened up Gears movement in a big way, with Horde Siege mode taking inspiration from games like Helldivers 2, giving a jaw-dropping and multi-objective co-op experience on the biggest maps ever. I can't wait to play more.

A fleeting visit to London in which we hit basically all key landmarks and more in just over 24 hours. My first time being a tourist there after many visits over the years for work and gigs. Was nice. Though my feet my never recover.

Pokemon Go Fest ended up being a damp squib for me, my son, and friends round here. Lots of server issues and game bugs, no Mega Mewtwo Raid spawns in our area either. Just ended up with a few mostly 2 star legendaries. Hardly the 10 year celebration you'd hope for! #PokemonGo

I finally completed a playthrough of Threshold today. One of those games that feels like you're playing a Lynchian dream (or nightmare) you once had. Loved every moment.
