I'm an art school dropout from the 1990s. I write about Florida. It is a weird and cursed land. www.kellirule.com
POETRY AND SAX DUO ORLANDO HARDCORE sorry I know this is tedious to say but the 90s were so much fun, man.
Omg these archives...my HS boyfriend drew this flyer, I remember his band 8th Grade Apathy...hahahahaha archive.org/download/the...
My partner at the time made comics about it. I took pictures of used rooms and painted them. I made hundreds of little paintings of used hotel rooms.
Sweet copper colored calligrapher beetle with little heart shaped splotches.
The only English language book at the Hacienda. Seems like a fine enough time to finally read this.
"Although, one wonders if "The Art of the Deal" would has been as highly acclaimed as it was had it been published under its original title, "Deals - What Are They Good For."
Writing about Christo and Jeanne-Claude's "Surrounded Islands" and how the project transformed the culture of Miami and it occurred to me how, at every step of the way, this so-called Land of Flowers has had to be packaged in pink in order to be sold.
This was nice! Whenever I get fan mail from strangers I brace myself for a complaint or a cease and desist.
Suddenly I find myself writing about the Sunshine Skyway Bridge disaster of 1980. I swear to god writing is therapy.
When I make beige food I try to plate it somewhat artfully so that I can say to myself "you're more than a carb slut. You're so much more than this."
Kitchen experiment gone well. Made some crispy gooey sesame seed, date and honey toffee candies.
Nice art at the Casa De La Cultura Jaliscience, I wonder what on earth it could mean
Getting our Guadalajara errands done before the city surrenders itself to the World Cup. Out too late probably. Don't forget to smile (reads sinister, in English, no?)
Found this review of "To Bethany, with Teeth," published by @lunastation.bsky.social and forgot I had invented a reality show in the story called "DIY Me, Bro!" Lol. kellirule.com/2025/06/15/t...
The most fun thing is searching for things you wrote a long time ago, forgot about, and have no context for. #writersky #pizzasky
