The world is a difficult place. The statement
"I will treat you with respect only when you treat me with respect." Is something many folk agree on, wrong.
Some people say "treat me with respect" and mean "treat me as a human being".
Others say "treat me with respect" and mean "treat me as an authority". Meaning their is a sizable group of human beings who are actually saying "treat me as an authority or I won't treat you as a human being" Which can make communication, difficult is the kindest word I can summon at this moment.

It’s short and sweet but I will expand it one day. When I got a more clear understanding of the history of House and its themes of community building via unified ecstatic experiences in marginalized communities. I realized what I was creating was NOT -Punk but in fact -House.

Folklore House
Aesthetics and trappings of pastoral and rustic life, with a full understanding of both the light and darkness of folklore, to experience the bringing together of outsiders into community with one another for communal healing and joy. Folklore has cultural power to teach lessons and build community. We are telling stories with these aesthetics that confront class conflict, radical compassion, and the supernatural as metaphors for how people interact with the natural world. Reflecting how unity in the face of oppression can uplift the disenfranchised to a state of higher being. Mind you this is a creative manifesto still in development. That is going to take years but every creative journey starts with a first step. This theme is directly influenced by the musical genre of House, and the literary genres of Pastoral, Solarpunk, Cottagecore, and Hopepunk.

Life Update! Just got my Delaware Drivers Permit! Scheduled for my behind the wheel test on May 22nd. So now it’s time for a driving school and driving practice with Jeanie and my Dad! Thank you to everyone who has given love and support and today is an another positive step forward.

So like in the 2000's I was playing a lot of World of Darkness and Exalted games, and was super into WoD LARP. Apparently the quiz doesn't really take into account folks taste in TTRPGs evolving later in life like I did? *shrug*

You are succeeding at a cost. Are you okay? Anyway, you're writing a paper on what's the least amount of mechanic a game can have and still be game. You've got six different safety tools up your sleeve and you know the best game is one where everyone's having fun. Or crying. Maybe both?

When I moved from Cali to Delaware I had to leave behind 90% of my TTRPG Library. Including all of my hardcover Exalted 3E books. I still have my PDFs thank the gods. But leaving them behind was painful. Now I have the Exigents book in hand and am so grateful, it’s so beautiful.
