Napoleon famously said, "don't interrupt your enemy if he is making a mistake", then K said, "let's sit here while he makes a mistake, oh here it comes." Unnecessary war of attrition but at what cost? And it had some weird repercussions. And here it is on the graph (source: Wikipedia)

What follows are a lot of early 19th century British plant lore, including the famous language of flowers that also includes other parts of the plant... Charity is represented by the humble turnip because love, the sort of caring trying to keep you alive love, well is humble and solid I suppose?

Charity is represented by the turnip, used in armorial bearings for a person of good disposition who relieved the poor.
