At least the lilacs are in bloom! (Actually, everything’s looking good this year thanks to the rains - last year it was a desert and even the Alchemilla Mollis struggled)
I have a clematis to tie up and a couple of things to plant. After that I shall mostly be sitting outside in the pursuit of doing absolute FA.
Anyone know what this is? Large shrub, deciduous, big flowers in early summer. Smells gorgeous. My phone thinks it’s a viburnum
Not sure if we’ll get another year out of this greenhouse. Half the wood is rotted, it’s already been patched (we keep digging up glass from where the original roof evidently shattered many years ago), and the base is bent from old trees. Maybe I need to learn carpentry…
💯 Especially when it’s clotted with years of old roots. Just clearing this patch was a day’s work!
