I can't even describe the feeling of realizing what a book should feel like--of everything clicking into place. Of the puzzle revealing itself. It's why editing is the best job in the world. And, if you want, why you should come do my book writing workshop with me!
Rainy Sunday = homemade guac and Grosse Pointe Blank with my 12 year old. This movie is still incredible. 10/10.
Tomorrow my 6 yo is attending a birthday party of a child who evidently “likes to fight” (jokingly I think). She choose to give him a set of emotional support capybaras. Who doesn’t need these in their life?

Someone's gonna have to explain to my kids why fascists took their ability to watch Frozen away.
It's not every day that an editor gets to be a true hero to her clients, but today is one of those days for me.
This week is the one-year anniversary of my book! I've spent the past year trying very hard to take my own advice from the book: stay mad, be annoying, find local community and deeply engage there. And it's been very fun to see groups of people reading the book as they start to get involved.
