I didn't say his "base", I said voters. The point is that there will always be non-white-men joining with white men, there are simply too many to not join any given faction.

1) yes, the NY machine that prioritizes centrist / non-partisan donors over Democrats is evil and must be crushed. unlike the DNC, it is undemocratic at its core.

2) if you think the young urban professionals that voted mandani aren't liberal, your brain has melted out your ears to such an extent you are completely lost and adrift in any understanding of american politics, concerned more about slopulist cultural signifiers to your parasocial friend group than reality

The idea that a differing perspective may make one correct to prefer Trump. That's the joke you made. That's how comedy works. They made a whatever reply. You didn't have to make such a claim in response.
