I heard fireworks in my neighborhood last night for the first time in years (no one bothered with them after the Woolsey Fire tbh). The sound was juuust far enough in the distance that this brave little girl was SO unbothered.

My mom may or may not have a shopping problem, and at least twice a year, I receive a package in the mail from her FULL of products she bought, tried once, and didn’t like. Usually lip gloss/stain/etc. I swear, I haven’t had to buy a lip product in years 💀

I only used half the dough last night, so I used to other half this morning to make a BBQ chicken pizza to bring to Kevin’s game this afternoon 😎
Tonight’s 🍕 dinner: Homemade pizza dough (just flour, Greek yogurt, and baking powder!), homemade lemon basil cream sauce, roasted chicken breast, marinated artichokes, (lite) mozzarella, Parmesan, and basil. Oh, and a quick homemade vinaigrette for the side salad with tomatoes from our patio 😍 👩🍳
One thing about Kevin is if there is bar karaoke, he WILL be singing. 😂
Had to christen the new toaster oven the best way I know how: broodje hagelslag 🇳🇱 😍
Pro tip if you own a toaster oven: keep a bag of crumble topping in your freezer so you can make a single (or double) serving of a fruit crumble whenever the sweet tooth is just too much to ignore. 10/10, this strawberry one is perfect 👌
