I did manage to see some of the Marvel booth. Of course I’m looking forward to seeing AVENGERS DOOMSDAY. I grew up on these characters.

Day 1 of @Comic_Con has been underway for some time, but I’ve been busy signing copies of THE SHADOW FILES Variant Edition & THE LARA-SU CHRONICLES: BEGINNINGS. And yes, the Sonic 35th Anniversary Print is proving to be pretty popular as well.

Here’s colorist Ethan Alvaree signing his first autograph for a fan, on a copy of the Variant edition of THE SHADOW FILES, no less. It wasn’t long before he signed his next one.

I’m finishing up this commission so I can get this in the mail to its rightful owner. The only commission pieces I’ll take on for @Comic_Con this year will feature a Sonic character alongside a DC Comics character on blank IDW-DC cover stock. $250 just pencils, $350 inked. 1st come, 1st served.

I came home from the post office after shipping out today’s orders to find Bernie had put together a display of my books in front hall for everyone to see. I was touched.

Finally shipped all the pre-orders of THE SHADOW FILES out to the people who ordered them. Now handling all new orders and getting ready for Comic-Con. Had to design a replacement cover for my iPhone 16 as well.

I saw SUPERGIRL in 3D yesterday. Forget the haters. I enjoyed the film, especially the fact that it presented her comic book origin faithfully in flashbacks utilizing Curt Swan’s Krypton costume designs and architecture. Millie was terrific as Supergirl. Looking forward to more.

THE SHADOW FILES will BEGIN SHIPPING on Wednesday, June 24. All USA orders should arrive at their destination by Saturday, June 27, depending on the local postal service. This would also a great time to add any other FIP release to the collection!

I just received word my order of THE SHADOW FILES has arrived at the Port of Los Angeles and is awaiting to clear Customs. In the meantime, I'm filling out the Customs forms for every International order received so far and getting all the supplies ready for shipping out all the orders. Stay tuned.

As I await word on the arrival of THE SHADOW FILES to the Port of Los Angeles, I thought I'd share this character illustration of Salma that I did for the Lara-Su app, one of many such pieces I'm currently working on.

While I think this is a nice representation for Salma's Data File entry in print, I can really show her emerging from the background into her natural form much better on the Lara-Su App.

I've decided the Lara-Su Character Data Files are going to be a Lara-Su app exclusive feature as they'll be a lot more easier to update than print is able to handle. The presentation will also be much better when depicting multiple views of the character such as Lien-Da seen here.

Saw #TheMandalorianandGrogu yesterday in #IMAX3D with hardcore Star Wars friends as Bernie & I are casual towards the franchise. This film was a GREAT time, & told my son he should take his son for a great father & son experience. Forget the haters. Right up there with ROGUE ONE.

While overseeing the printing of THE SHADOW FILES, I’m now at work on TL-SC: SHATTERED TOMORROWS. Besides work on new pages, I’ve also tweaked art that was used in BEGINNINGS that I myself was less than thrilled with, but had to turn in due to the printing deadline. News of the app coming soon.
