Literally just finished posting this on some IG article about low voter turn out. And like we all keep voting yes on these levys- we WANT things to improve but we keep cutting service and charging more? Come on. Mamdani didn’t just give people something to vote for- he is out there actually doing

I just filled out my ballot and it was embarrassing quite frankly. You want to inspire people to vote - give us people that are inspiring. Picking between 3 or 4 flavors of ineffectual and dysfunctional and
2 different "maybe this levy will finally end with the actual work being done" knowing full well we are going to lose even more services and get even less result for our investment that we are absolutely willing to make. Come on.
We are going to continue to drown, even while so many us are stepping up in our own communities trying to hold as many heads above water while we sink lower.
This type of tepid leadership can not continue fuck.
