Panel 2: Tai and Hikaru stand next to each other, looking toward Urianger. Hikaru is smiling and giving a thumbs-up, and says, "Looks great!" Tai seems to be looking down slightly, thinking.

Panel 3: Barely changed from panel 2. Tai looks up, a very faint blush on his cheeks, and says, "It... suits you well." Hikaru is instantly suspicious.

Panel 4: Urianger has walked off into the background to mess with bookshelves. Hikaru and Tai are viewed from behind as Hikaru looks down with a teasing grin at an annoyed Tai, whose ears are flat in annoyance. Dialogue:
Hikaru: "What was that?"
Tai: "What was what."
Hikaru: "You're into him."
Tai, flatly: "What."
Hikaru, teasingly: "It suits you weelll"
Tai: "It was a benign compliment."

Panel 5: Back to viewing them from the front, so we see Tai being annoyed and Hikaru teasingly leaning forward. Hikaru says, "Oh,please. You're literally looking at his back right n--", but Tai interrupts him by shoving his hand in Hikaru's face, and Hikaru finishes with a delayed, "-ow."

Apparently, I am done writing.

Mona the cat standing with one paw on a notebook that is laid open on a bed, with a green fountain pen lying between the pages. A few sentences have been written. They might be WoLship nonsense but that is irrelevant at this moment.

Made it to Endwalker, spent at least an hour in the Sharlayan nap rooms for an Expansion Glam Update (also everyone was already wearing one of his favorite coats there whoops). #FFXIV

OC Tai as a Mi'qote in Final Fantasy 14, wearing an open jacket that has been dyed dark green over a brownish-black shirt unbutton halfway down the chest, white pants, and fingerless gloves with straps that wrap up the forearms and end in silver bands. Tai is very much a man who likes nice clothes, but has little desire to A. show skin past his sternum, or B. dabble overmuch in anything feminine. This has not stopped me from putting WoL!Tai in that slutty little martial arts shirt any time I please.

Panels 2-4: Alphinaud comes in, shutting the door behind him, and Tai looks up with slight surprise. Alphinaud says, waving, "Tataru thought you might be here. ...Though I would not have guessed you to partake of spirits." Tai, with a bitter smile, says, "Hm. Not often, no."

Panel 5: closeup as Tai refills his glass from the bottle on the table. He says, "I generally prefer a nice win or mead, but the occasion calls for it, I think."

Panel 6: Alphinaud approaches the table and rests his hands on the back of an empty chair and says, "...Perhaps. I would not know."

Panel 7: Alphinaud continues, looking quietly pained, "...I still struggle to believe that Haurchefant is truly gone. He was a dear friend when few were to be had. He did not deserve his fate."

It begins: job stone cocktails until I forget or get bored, part one. #FFXIV #cocktails And we start with my basic-ass favorite, the Black Mage: dark, mysterious, purple. A strong cocktail that, thankfully, won't affect you pressing two buttons back and forth.
