Recall growing up in the '50s. This was our 'Wireless' - the term 'Radio' didn't appear until some years later. A valve 'Bush' set with 2 BBC stations, the 'Home' & 'Light' service. Reception signals would 'whistle' & stations would fade in & out. 😆 No TV!😲. Happy days!
