The map is color coded by AQI. Pittsburgh is right on the edge of the yellow "poor" and orange/red "unhealthy" line. Ominously, the entire upper left quadrant of the map is purple "very unhealthy / dangerous" as is a small patch centered around Philadelphia.

LOLsob at the interstate detour; they are aware what fifth and forbes avenues are like right now, right?

Proposed detour routes for "interstate" traffic on I-376 during a major bridge replacement project that asks traffic to exit I-376 onto Penn Ave then go down Fifth Ave through the University of Pittsburgh campus. Fifth Ave is perennially under construction, currently two lanes in most places due to construction related to the Bus Rapid Transit project and removal of the dedicated bus lane that used to go opposite the direction of other traffic on that road.
