There have been more but I can't see them. This is the only one I've found this morning
The deep-state conspiracy delusion isn't just on the right, and it denies agency to many and hands power to others who simply don't have it. Yes, they're powerful and influential, but the idea they can seemlessly engineer events to their preference is nonsense, and makes them seem impossible to beat
Just thought I'd add my picture to the gallery of pictures of British people queuing at passport control in European destinations. This one is in Florence. Ten mins so far. Cheers, #tories #farage Lord Frosty Frost™ @steverichards.bsky.social Bunch of bellends.
He's been appearing locally saying stuff like this. It's like they had nothing to do with the government they helped run for 14 years that led us to the point where what he says is bad actually happened! Do they have a memory?
@jim.londoncentric.media have you ever heard of a response to a journalist like this one to my local Guildford Dragon? I mean, big companies like this have press offices and plenty of resources.... guildford-dragon.com/huge-yellow-...
Quick! They found a plumber. Plumbers always get elected in Northern seats, right?
Another note : Polanski's nose isn't even a particularly notable feature. He doesn't have particularly big ears, nose, anything. To emphasise it in the way they have when it's not a feature particularly is a hell of a stretch. Or they're antisemitic.....
I want to be positive about local elections because of how important they are, but because of how we elect councillors, I have to vote for the ones dislike least, not those I *want* to vote for. Looks like it's the LibDems to stop Reform and the Tories. Sigh guildford-dragon.com/may-2026-wes...
One of the reasons we left the EU in the first place was because of dumb statistics like this: if we paid a billion to access the single market but gained £10 billion as a result, that's a net gain of £9 billion, at least in basic terms. The Independent carry stupid nonsense like this for clicks.
She sounds like she's trying to make a quite nuanced point, which is getting lost maybe? I mean, this is Jess Phillips, who knows more about the subject of domestic violence than most people. Doesn't that count for something?
I've been in Liverpool as I had a meeting on Wirral today. I took some pictures of some the magnificent buildings in Liverpool, and was struck at just how grubby some of the most extraordinary buildings they have are. If it was London it wouldn't have been tolerated, but it's the north, so it was.
On the one hand I'm glad that we've got a party making the case to tax wealth and assets fairly. On the other, every time the Greens and those on further left talk about tax they make it sound like it's a punishment beating, instead of it being something good that results in benefits for everyone.

Touch of death from the newbie. Late penalty, captain sent off. Epsom and Ewell player apparently blatantly handled it. Relegation for #guildford City. I'll be back.
First ever #Guildford City match, a local-ish derby with not-London-not-Surrey's Epsom and Ewell FC. Two seasons in one match. 0-0 at the break. Guildford have to win to have a chance of staying up. I'm also sure that @twoht.bsky.social could do a better job with all that material.
Fixed it for you. Hope you like it. Yes, it's childish, but it is much more accurate where Goodwin is concerned. @sundersays.bsky.social
Honestly. The idea that a Tory reject can hold a referendum to leave London is just so laughable. It's a complete gimmick and the Independent are just giving oxygen to this Faragesque nonsense
Sky rearranged this fixture, our pre-arranged International Fans fixture scheduled for yesterday, because everyone is so desperate to watch us play Northampton Town. Clubs *do* have a choice on these issues but they choose not to take the difficult one. #afcw #afcwimbledon
👍Bus price cap is really good. Makes a big difference to me and other bus users who don't drive. 👎The actual services are run by private operators with minimal oversight, even where routes are part-subsidised by the local council like this one #guildford @zoefranklinld.bsky.social
This looks really clever. And it's a good line. It scans well. But when you're trying to move from a position of shock, subjugation, fear even, I can understand that people take time. But there's always a social media post from someone who is a 'pamphleteer'.
There's always an antisemitic conspiracy theory. And this obsession with the Rothschilds. Sheesh.
Mandelson was clearly critical to making Labour electable, but he became the story and in the end thought he mattered more, which always happens with those sorts of people, especially when given such untramelled power. Corbyn invited in Suemas Milne, the Communists, Miltant and SWP. Both can be bad
2/ It isn't just T*ump: Massive investment in clean energy with a direct impact on bills, and they choose to focus on the negative element. It's pathetic rage baiting, and it belies some of the great journalism they are capable of - Dave Conn & Hillsborough for example.
1/ The depth, breadth, style of coverage news organisations give to every issue is a choice: Flashing red alerts with Tr*mp latest talking points framed to suit. This helps him move the cycle on from his broken performance yesterday that anyone sane agrees was an embarrassment at best.
Instead of clapping Zack Polanski's easy solutions/getting annoyed with Keir Starmer, my advice is also to subscribe to Foreign Affairs mag. £30 a year, six editions of the Magazine & access to the back catalogue. There is loads of nuanced & intelligent commentary out there if you look for it
