Menno had (or, as I write this, is having) a big Fourth of July celebration for the 250th, including a big parade and this welcoming attraction about four miles east of town.

No Kings Rally in Vermillion Thursday afternoon: Windy but warmer, more than 200 people marched, and the downtown rally drew a "guestimate" of about 350 people.
No Kings Rally in Yankton: More than 250 people turned out Saturday morning, amid chilly and windy conditions. I believe this may have been the biggest crowd they've had for these rallies.

A regional flight of the USA Archery Indoor Nationals was held at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center this weekend and drew competitors from across the region, including members of the Mount Marty archery team. The JOAD Youth Indoor Nationals was also held.
The annual Yankton Holiday Community Feast was held Wednesday and once again drew a huge (and wide) crowd.
One of the many great things about the Yankton (SD) School District is that it has the coolest digital sign to announce its upcoming Thanksgiving recess.
