Related - UK Embassy Raw Power from 1977, 1st copy I got. Notable as the mixes of Raw Power and Search And Destroy are v different to the original LP. They first surfaced on the UK cassette of the album. Presumably someone in 1977 pulled that tape, not the LP master. Worth finding an Embassy copy.

A deeply weird listen - Australian issue of the 1st Clash LP. Mastered/EQd to emphasis the mid range: a conventional take on the sound. Not a trebly scratch as per the UK. Extra clarity too. It works: esp Deny, Cheat, Garageland. The live White Riot is awful though, as there's little to work from.
