Revolutionary Cat King
@kingcat1203
King Cat. Best known for cosplaying Utena on a trapeze.
Stinky boy bites toes, headbutts face, then sulks and stares as a cuddle despite getting plenty of kisses and attention.
The full collection plus my notebook. My first batch was all horror and murder, which is fun, but I found myself wanting more variety. I grabbed a few extra because they keep going out of stock and some were the last copies at the store.
I got a clear notebook cover for my Midori notebook and decorated it with stickers, some new and some from my stash. I got a bunch of kitty stickers at the shop and have transferred them to my sticker release book. Decorations feature @mcapriglioneart.bsky.social and @yangzhenlee.bsky.social art.
Finally budgeted the spoons to sew some extremely basic linen curtains for my stairway window. They are not my best work and I used the selvedge raw for the long edges to save time, but they should stop the morning sun from making the whole upstairs too bright in the morning.
This week's #OliveArtClub teapot is a bit late. I had fun with the reflection.
Fountain pen ink sketch. Attempting to use more cross hatching since my nib is a bit too fine for coloring large areas
Here's my wrap up for May. I only bothered to rate 5 star books so that stat is skewed.
Here's my sketch for #OliveArtClub. I love having a reason to draw and share without worrying about skill. It's been relaxing to challenge myself to try new things and be an amateur. Fountain pen and ink.
This is a cat checkpoint. Relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone.
Radish for #OliveArtClub by @moviessilently.bsky.social in fountain pen and ink. Inks are Sailor Manyo Sumomo and a blend of Diamine Louise and Kelly Green.
Extremely quick and messy attempt because the colors in my fountain pens happen to match
Had just enough migraine to not be able to look at screens, but better enough after a nap to be really bored and restless. So I did the most chaotic sewing of my life to use some fabric scraps to make a sleeve for my new ereader.
I've been relaxing by writing song lyrics with my new pens and inks. It's fun to slow down and play with my handwriting.
Happy Easter from the flying squirrel that lives in my dad's fireplace
Here's some photos from my last show while I wait to see what I get from night. My duo partner, Chaos, and I were sapphic werewolves for this one. I don't have any pictures from before the act, but we had snap off fur panels covering the nipples.
I've been sketching in the pages of my planner that I didn't use last year. This one is my current favorite. I had to move quickly when I saw Solly with his tum up.
My currently inked pens and swatches of all my bottled inks (not including samples 😅).
My spouse just looked through the gap in his desk and saw this view.
We have a beautiful new backsplash! It was absolutely worth waiting months for the guys who did our flooring to have a couple free days to do this gig on the side. They were working with literal scraps for the pencil trim and still made it look perfect.
Here's the leotard with the leggings. I think overall it's a good enough match for the video costume, plus it's two comfortable new wardrobe additions!
I got the pieces together and I'm actually really happy with how the pattern turned out! I had a fever the last two days, but it broke last night and the sun is out, so it's time to finish this costume. Just need elastics.
This is what I'm making, btw. I've decided to make separate leggings and bodice for practical reasons. The wide waistband will replace the belt she wears, plus I just want some new black leggings. My old ones are worn out.
Like, why only add side seam allowance to the panty bit?? I don't think it'll match up? I don't know but I guess I'll find out. I tried measuring along the curve but it was too tedious. I already updated my leggings pattern and just want to get done tracing a fresh leotard copy to modify.
