Room Sake Kameizumi Shuzo (Kochi) drink local Junmai Daiginjo Genshu Cel 24 Wow. Brilliant. Tropical nose. Crisp apple notes with slight green herbs on the palate. Very refreshing and very easy drinking. Would turn anyone on to Sake in a heartbeat. 96/100 🧵
Room Sake Tomio Kyo no Hanaichirin Junmai Daiginjo 49% Gohyakumangoku rice 100% Fushimi Kyoto If delicate could describe any sake I’ve even had this is the poster child Muted melon nose, crisp without any edges, exceptionally delicate and smooth and a ghostly but beautiful finish. 94/100
Back by popular demand its Room Sake Takeda “Black Skull” Tokubetsu Honjozo Nama Genshu Pale amber colour. The nose is rich with very umami notes of rice. It’s masculine and full bodied and slightly boozy with a dry finish. Grilled meats would be my choice. Score 89/100
4/4 maybe I was overthinking or reacting? I’m not sure. Something that represents 166000 people wiped off of the earth in one moment to me isn’t a happy place and never will be. ☮️ on 🌍 Full stop.
