I'm actually busy working on what I feel is a banger project (aside from uhm life happening). But I might as well drop some backlog #poetry I never bothered to put online bc it's a bit lackluster in my eyes (as in this case breakup poetry tends to be).

Imagine all my kindness being gone,
A colorful soul stripped to the bone -
Sometimes I think life would be easier,
Pretending to be a demon.

The heart is being torn apart,
By the latest porn you dropped,
In the trash-filled backyard you call love -
"What's the problem? So what?"

"You don't even know me honey",
I know that you gladly took all my money.
"For you I want to do better" -
Sure.
The mad hatter was less of a bullshit record setter.

I gave you everything,
Now I'm left standing where I always stood,
Grinning cats are chasing me
through the woods.

While all the King's horses,
And all the King's men,
Fail to put it,

It is as much a hope as it is a fear.

For who would want a memory
