28. Walten Files: Faces of Grief (2026) This episode does such an excellent job fleshing out Rosemary's character and unpacking her grief and how it set her on a downward spiral. Which filled me with all the more dread knowing what happens to her. I'm looking forward to seeing this series continue.
27. Backrooms (2026) I delayed this a bit to give myself time to think about the film, and I can confidently say I really enjoy it. Clark and Mary make for such fascinating protagonists. And I really like the approach they took to adapting the backrooms as a concept. Which A24 will never own.
26. The War of the Gargantuas (1966) It's a shame I haven't seen alot of discussion around this movie since it's a damn good kaiju film. That first sequence with the military fighting off Giara was really entertaining and the final monster fight was excellent.
25. Tremors (1990) I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this. The Graboids are such cool monsters from a design and technical standpoint. It must have been a nightmare pull to make those burrowing effects work but all that effort really paid off.
Overall I had fun with it, but was annoyed with it's over all lack of focus. Also Machinehead's design slaps and he deserved way more screentime.
24. Redline (2009) I adore the art direction and the creative character but it started to lost me after that stellar opening race. The robot's trying to stop the race takes a way so much time that could've be used to flesh out the other racers. And it distracts from the far more intresting mob plot.
23. Demon Wind (1990) I was told that as a fan of the og Evil Dead trilogy I'd really enjoy this film. But having evil dead on my mind, makes this film look so much worse by comparison. Cause on its own merits it's just a boring horror film with way too many characters fighting off lame ass demons.

22: Maximum overdrive (1986) This film is just a mess. It's only a little over an hour and a half but it feels like three. It's being so over top does make feel at least a bit enjoyable, but this would've greatly benefited from being just a thirty minute shortfilm.
21: PumpkinHead (1988) I was pleasantly surprised at how genuinely solid this film is. It has a creative premise that feels right out of an old folktale. I also appreciate its more nuanced take on a revenge story that I frankly didn't expect. The titular monster also rules
20. Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) Unfortunately I didn't enjoy it quite as much on rewatch. Despite all the fun and creative Clown antics the human side of things is painfully dull. I get why it's such a beloved film, but it really doesn't do much for me beyond the excellent effects
Friend bought these as a joke and they're positively horrid. Shit tastes the way Febreze smells
19. WishMaster (1997) Had a lot fun with this one. A killer Dijnn is such a creative premise for a slasher film and the film executes it wonderfully. Andrew Divoffs performance as the Dijnn makes this movie, the film is at it's best whenever he's on screen being a smarmy shit-heel.
"This mutant sucker wants stars? Then you gotta give em to him Mac! Avoid his tendrils and show em what your made of!"
17. Get out I deeply regret not seeing this sooner it's such a fantatsic film that masterfully get's it themes across with great use of symbolism and character acting. I also enjoyed the films more comedic moments. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already

16. The Devil Wears Prada: Kept seeing advertisement for the sequel while I was New York so I decided to check out the original film and thought it was pretty good. JK Rowling being name dropped was lame as hell though.
15. The Mighty Jem Stones: This show wants to be an edgy comedy with deeply flawed but naunced characters, but it refuses to slow down and let it's cast be people. They're just dreadful cartoon characters until the show wants to rush an emotional moment with no build up or lasting repercussions.
