This movie, Twice Upon a Time, is a visual and technical feast! Transparent cut-outs and occasional keyframe animation shot in stop motion on top of glass multi-plane backgrounds. Its partially improvised script and design choices influenced most of Phil Lord and Chris Miller's projects.

Star Fox 64 is one of my favorite games, it's a tall order. My first impressions after doing two runs are this is a slick remake, except for the parts that now feel like a breeze while they're saying the lines wrong. But the kid out there who is first experiencing 64 thru this will have a blast.

So, this happened in Tomodachi Life right after posting this. The way this game lowers your guard with randomized irreverence only to hit you with something genuinely touching. If the funny Mii sim game got me to choke up, it's doing something right.
Never played Tomodachi Life on 3DS but its latest glorpo simulator ate up tons of my free time over the course of a week.
I would say even in episodes not as extravagant, nothing today is like Tokyo Movie Shinsha's character animation and ingenuity on Batman. I've seen a few argue over common traits more noticeable on cartoonier work TMS was also doing but all demonstrated they were top draftsmen at any tone and style.
Be kind and help others, don't be a beetle (This is the scene right before "my favorite leg is gone" by the way. Peter in Magicland / Peterchens Mondfahrt is weird but boring oddly enough.)
Definitely didn't get Midna's appeal and translated some of that into Tikka-Din nope none whatsoever (by the way this new horizontal gallery sucks I don't like it)

Earlier this month I watched the Muppet Show reboot pilot and enjoyed it a lot (the best since Disney bought them) but then I also watched the old Muppets Valentine special made before the series. The reboot pilot is fun and familiar, but it's missing the freedom to do funny weird things like this.
In the Fleischer Bros' Mr. Bug Goes to Town, the main antagonist upon learning his real estate is within a coming disaster zone decides to 'donate' his land to villagers in need. Early 40's movie by the way (got buried by studio and world events at the time), crazily prescient on rewatch.
