What a wonderful FWA. So many mixed emotions leaving here. Joy for getting to express myself as a pup and my bolf, and sadness I don't get to do it as often as I want (need). I already miss the wonderful people I get to see here and the fun we had. I adore this community. Thanks for it all!
Somehow gathered a group of bunnies for a photoshoot lol. Look at all those cute fluffs. Tag them if you know them!
We are in GA! Google aptly reminded me of this photo from FWA 4 years ago. Clearly a sign for how the con will go.
I'm excited for FWA this year! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Can't wait to fursuit and be a puppy. I'll be hosting a Waggery meetup, but I love to hit some other events. If you have room for a bolf, let me know.
The future of fencing... What an absolute joke. I'd forgive them for it being the first event if they didn't use so much AI slop with their graphics and other places. They should have postponed if they couldn't put out a quality product. It's just sad.
Backed the Snow Bear card game, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a drawing from the director of Brother Bear, Aaron Blaise. So freaking cool!
Here are my predictions (in red) and what I'd pick to win (in green). I know there are tons of issues with the Oscars, but I still love celebrating cinema, and think they expose many people (including myself) to movies they'd otherwise never watch. No matter what, have fun and go to the cinema!
My coworker made this absolutely gorgeous drawing of Ash for me. It was so sweet of her.
I thought it would get easier, but I just miss her so much. I know it will eventually, but this last week has been hard.
Had a lovely weekend at the coast with @zthefox.bsky.social . It was very nice to get away for a bit. The weather was perfect , 60 degrees and clear skies all weekend.
It's been a month. This is the last photo I took with her, just before we left to go see the vet. We didn't go with the end planned out, but in the back of our heads we knew that it might go there. I cherish this moment. We just snuggled on the floor, comforting her best we could. Miss you puppy.
I don't know if it's cruel or kind that google photos keeps making these collections for me. It makes me sad but also seeing her face is also so nice.
We brought her home today. We still have some things we need to frame and put up, but it feels nice to have a little spot for her.
It's been a week and I still miss her so much. I miss her weight on our bed. Her greeting us with a toy when we got home. Her begging for food. Her smell. Her pants. Her silliness. Taking her on walks. Her wet nose. Her smile. Her following me everywhere, my shadow. I miss everything about her.
This was from last year. She was tucking, chasing my brother's dog around, even at 14! The last shot...just majestic. She loved the coast.
The very first time we met her. She was tucked away at the very back. It was pretty much love at first sight. She returned, and moved around shelters, but that was just so she could find her way to us. I knew right away she was the one and never regretted a single day.
She's gone. No more pain and she didn't suffer. We were by her side the whole time. She gave us one last wonderful memory making us laugh as she scarfed down her goodbye brownie. She will always be our goof ball. Ash I love you so much, you were the best dog ever. Good bye my sweet girl.
On our way to the St Louis airport. I'm definitely ready to get home, but that PCD is already setting in.
I already miss being a puppy. At the concert last night I kept seeing phantom hood and fursuit heads at the concert. Too bad the real world can't be as fun.
