Today’s the big day! 📖🎂🎉W. Brand Publishing is 8 years old. We believe everyone has a story, and for the better part of a decade, we’ve strived to help share those stories with the world. This is only the beginning. Here’s to 8 more years of great stories! www.wbrandpub.com #indiepublishing
🎊Oh, I am double lucky!🎊 Apparently, I unlocked a secret code on Amazon, which now also shows my Goodreads rating. Thanks to all who have purchased and reviewed my memoir. Order yours now: books2read.com/UnboundFeet @chinamediaproject.bsky.social #china #internationalteaching #spiritualjourney
Mom & I visited the North American Bigfoot Center in Boring, OR. There are interesting things to read and see. Plus, a great gift shop. We both said how much my dad would have LOVED this place. It was fun to find things that "verifed" my novel, "A Bigfoot Homecoming." books2read.com/BigfootHomec...
📚🎉 Happy Bookversary to "Walking Away from the Ledge: A Soldier’s Memoir" by Chris Kruger! This is a hard-hitting, no-BS military memoir by Kruger that goes beyond the battlefield to expose the raw truth of war, survival, and self-destruction. books.by/w-brand.../w... #militarylife #healing #health
My dad was 1 in MO! A BIGFOOT HOMECOMING was inspired by his story. books2read.com/BigfootHomec... Truth is Scarier created this infographic showing Bigfoot sightings in the US using reports sent in to the BFRO website. The graphic itself shows sightings for every 100,000 people per state.
Logan's world turns upside when he learns not only is he adopted but also discovers he wasn't even born in his beloved California. The lone clue points him in the direction of the Sunflower State. He feels his only option is to run away and find the truth for himself. books2read.com/ToWhomItMayC...
Inspired to create! Made a fool of myself many times. Since Journalism school, I've kept little notebooks with me to jot things down. Overseas it was handy for my FAQs and ordering food.
Translation is important. This sign was by the Uni where I taught in China. As an adoptee, it was funny but odd. I asked a student. She said it's when a gov't stops a bill. 🤯I said, so it says don't pass? She smiled. Can you imagine Gandolf saying: You shall not adopt! books2read.com/ToWhomItMayC...
It's fun & a bit shocking to find a spiral-ring notebook full of stories I wrote "back in the day." This was my first attempt at Sci-Fi, it's actually more dystopian (but I hadn't heard of that word yet). I may need to be like Dr. Frankenstein and resurrect something.
The Tucson Festival of Books' substack noted the August cover story of @theatlantic.com by Rose Horowitch is "The Age of Reading Is Over." Not only do I still love reading for pleasure, but I'm also not afraid of a tome. I pray there are others like me. As an indie author I hope they find my books.
🥁Drumroll, please🥁 The W. Brand Publishing Substack kicks off with About the Author: Laura Lyn Donahue -- Searching for identity and finding purpose in storytelling open.substack.com/pub/wbrandpu...

Consider adding this NextGen INDIE Award winning YA fiction to your collection. Logan learns a family secret: He's adopted. Convinced his parents are hiding more, he runs off to find the truth and discovers the meaning of belonging and family along the way. books2read.com/ToWhomItMayC...
💃It's Happy Dance time! Overjoyed for today's Goodreads review! As Jack wrote, we taught in China. I'm convinced I still have a right arm because of Jack's EMT training & ability to speak Mandarin. Experience teaching overseas, reverse culture shock, and more: books2read.com/UnboundFeet
What's great about traveling is meeting people and making friends around the world. Ashley is a dear friend I met in the Philippines in 2009. He saved our bacon and helped keep our trip on course. His actions encouraged me to be extra kind to visitors in my home country. books2read.com/UnboundFeet
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "The Postmistress of Puddlington" by @laurajensenwalker.bsky.social Release: Aug. 4, '26. WWII-era novels take up an entire shelf in my library. I’m proud to add “The Postmistress of Puddlington” to my collection. A book launch and signing are at Old Haunts Bookshop at 4 p.m. 8/8/26
As an indie author, I am so thankful for each review. If you are unable to leave a review on Amazon (many times I haven't spent the minimum amount to leave a review), you can leave a review on Goodreads.com (it's free to create an account and there is no spending requirement to leave a review).
I'm not sure how anyone who has followed FIFA for more than a minute can be "shocked" by this decision. I don't think it was a red card, but after it was given, I don't think it should have been taken away (especially in the manner in which it was). Now there will be an asterisk with this team.
We’re excited to join author Tauni Crefeld in celebrating a five-star review from Booksterr.com. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (See full review booksterr.com/review/554 )

Enjoy an excerpt from my memoir "Unbound Feet." My first year teaching the university was surrounded by empty fields and small villages. In the chapter, What Doesn't Kill Me, May Leave Me Maimed, I write about my first solo bike trip to a village behind our campus. books2read.com/UnboundFeet
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's not often I find a book that makes me LOL and then cry, but "The Pilgrimage of Primrose Honeychurch"—written by my dear friend Laura Jensen Walker—is such a book. The sad bit is it doesn't officially release until 10/20/26, but pre-order now and thank me later. tinyurl.com/PrimroseOrder
