Really made the most of a random Wednesday holiday. Baked my fave cherry dessert, watched #TheTraitorsNZ finale and Las Culturistas Culture Awards, house cleaning, finished @emilynussbaum.bsky.social's terrific book Cue the Sun! The Invention of Reality TV, and got the #BB28 scoop!

What a treat to be at a screening of sweet indie romcom Middle Life starring Leah Fay Goldstein & Peter Dreimanis (of July Talk who I've been such a huge fan of since 2013!) and be sitting just behind them! Peter was also in Sinners so it was awesome to hear him speak briefly about that in the Q&A!

Super fun being back at The JUNO Awards last night! Great to have them back in my hometown after first attending in 2015 🤘🎶 Mae Martin was a rad host and it was fabulous to see Nelly Furtado and Joni Mitchell receive special awards (and to hear Joni sing, so moving 🥲)
